Interactive installation

1. Download MSFS Visual Docking Guidance System installer from Releases.
2. Launch the installer and follow instructions.

Uninstallation is available through Control Panel > Programs and Features.

Unattended installation

MSFS Visual Docking Guidance System comes packaged into a MSI installer that supports standard command-line arguments for easy integration into existing airport installers.

To install it with only a progress bar visible:

msiexec /qb /i noolaero-module-vdgs.msi

To uninstall it:

msiexec /qb /x noolaero-module-vdgs.msi

Autostart

During the installation process, the installer creates an autostart entry in the exe.xml configuration file. If the file does not exist, it will be created. In the event that the file exists but is corrupt, a warning message is displayed and no entry is written. To ensure safety, a backup copy of the existing file is made before each installation and uninstallation. All files can be found within the Microsoft Flight Simulator’s application data (AppData) folder.

Copy-paste the path into File Explorer’s address bar to open the folder.
